(1) Ara Pacis The altar of peace is one of the most important monuments of ancient Rome. It was built in 13 B.C. to commemorate Augustus victories over Spain and Gaul.

(2) Arch of Constantine It is the most important of the Roman triumphal arches. It was built in 313 A.D. to celebrate emperor Constantine's victory over Massenzio.

(3) Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano It is the Rome's cathedral, founded by Constantine in the IV century. It was destroyed and reconstructed more times. The basilica's actual shape dates back to the XII century.
