Luca Carimini (Architetto) fece un'importante restauro quando nel 1878 la chiesa fu acquistata dai Missionari francesi del Sacro Cuore.
Arnaldo Foschini (Architetto) in seguito alla realizzazione di Corso Rinascimento modificò la chiesa privandola del transetto.
